Mission Statement

The Betty Mitchell Children For Life Center vision is to provide fundamental training and mentoring that helps children grow in reading, writing comprehension, spelling, mathematics, computer skills, health, wellness, social development, and access to youth services in the rapidly growing Fort Worth–Crowley area.

Why It Matters

Children and young adults need safe, consistent places to learn, receive guidance, build confidence, and connect with caring adults. The project is designed to strengthen families and help address educational, social, and community challenges before they become larger barriers.

Project Summary

Planned activities include tutoring, computer skills, after-school support, mentoring, grief and peer-pressure counseling, poetry and creative learning, exercise and wellness, job-preparation skills, and partnerships with schools and community organizations.

Expected Results

The goal is stronger youth development, improved attitudes and behavior, greater self-sufficiency, healthier decision-making, and a community strengthened through ongoing mentoring, training, accountability, and follow-up.

Build With Us

Christian Faith Baptist Church believes this project can create a lasting place for ministry, learning, service, and opportunity for generations to come.
